Example of an eGFR Calculation

Consider a 50-year-old male with a serum creatinine level of 1.0 mg/dL. When these values are entered into the 2021 CKD-EPI creatinine equation, the estimated GFR is approximately 96 mL/min/1.73 m².

Understanding eGFR Results
